Dear Friends of Ladywood, We are so very grateful for your sharing in our Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration. Your cards, Phone messages, emails, gifts of flowers, donations and your joining us for the special liturgy and program touched us very much. The presence of over 700 people to join us in prayer at Presentation Chapel solidified the very essence of our existence as a Catholic High School. Your joining in the prayer and song helped us thank the Lord for sixty years of blessings. We know that God will not only continue to bless Ladywood but we also know that because of such a strong out pouring of prayer that God will also bless all of you. “Where two or more are gathered in prayer there I am in the midst of them.” When the Felician sister first opened Ladywood High School it was to provide quality, affordable, Catholic education for young women. Today, all of us who make up the Ladywood family continue this rich legacy. It takes the work of many hands to help our young girls have an education that develops the whole person. Thank you for being a part of this process. A Mass of thanksgiving for all of you was offered on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. We shall continue to keep all of you in our prayers and future Mass intentions in the days ahead. Once again, your support, encouragement and gift of time in being a part of this special sixtieth anniversary have touched us. May God in His richness continue to bring many blessings into your lives.
