Ladywood offers a challenging and rewarding academic program, striving to enhance the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for students to become life-long learners and contributing members of society. Ladywood is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation of Schools.
MADONNA/LADYWOOD PARTNERSHIP
In addition to AP Classes, qualified Ladywood students can accumulate college credit by participating in the Madonna University/Ladywood High School partnership. Students in grades 10-12 who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 may elect to take classes at Madonna at reduced tuition rates.
LIVONIA CAREER TECHNICAL CENTER/LADYWOOD PARTNERSHIP
In addition to classes at Ladywood, students in grades 11-12 can build their technical skills in a specific career pathway as an extension of their day. This is an opportunity for students to begin preparing for a career in our rapidly changing technological society.

INNOVATIVE SCHEDULE

To aid our students in making a smooth transition from high school to college, Ladywood has incorporated alternative block scheduling. Students select 7 or 8 classes per semester, resulting in students having 3 or 4 classes daily, each lasting 80 minutes. Extended labs, cooperative learning, and varied educational activities are just some of the benefits derived.
