Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M Music Honor Society was developed specifically to offer opportunities for recognizing outstanding musicians, their talents, and leadership skills.  It's goal is to inspire music students to achieve common goals, increase awareness of the schools music program in community and provide models of achievement.

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership is based on being enrolled in music ensemble for at least 2 years, be of excellent character, exhibit good attitude towards teachers and fellow students, be helpful in their classes while at Ladywood High School, maintain a "B" average or equivalent in music, and a "B" average or equivalent in other academic subjects.

TYPES OF ACTIVITIES:

• Concert set ups

• Performances at Open Houses, Parent Back to School and the Starlight Extravaganza

• Two Service projects a year tutoring music theory

MEETINGS:

Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month
