Ladywood admits students who desire to continue to develop their faith life, strive to reach their highest academic potential, and possess self-discipline. Admittance is based upon HSPT scores, past academic performance and attendance, teacher recommendations, a possible student interview, and a student’s potential for success at Ladywood.
All incoming freshman are required to take this test. The HSPT measures proficiency in English, Reading, Vocabulary, Math Problem Solving, and Science. The test is available 4 times a year in local Catholic high schools. Ladywood offers the test in November, December and February with registration necessary for the December and February tests by contacting our Guidance Department at 734-591-5492. Other area Catholic schools offer a March test. Check the Archdiocese of Detroit, Office of Catholic Schools for additional test centers at www.aodonline.org.
