Ladywood High School has been designated as a MICHIGAN EVERGREEN SCHOOL

 

 

Ladywood Goes Green - We are proud to announce that Ladywood has been designated an Official Michigan Green School by Wayne County Department of Environment and the State of Michigan.  This effort was headed by Mr. Gaule and the Ladywood Environmental Club and supported by the entire school.  Ladywood has completed the required energy saving and environmental tasks to merit this award.  This includes adopting a threatened species, the polar bear and creating natural habits around the school.  We have also expanded our recycle program to include batteries, cell phones and plastics.   For more information about this program please follow this link.
